June 18, 2016Looking for a great summer dish? These mushrooms are tasty, gorgeous, are a good source of fiber, and full of….crab and perfect for any summer entertaining event!
Seafood is the perfect protein in the eyes of Skinny Louisiana. A 3-ounce serving is only approximately 65 calories while offering over 14 grams of protein.
Crab stars in these stuffed mushrooms and we continued our skinny twist with another secret – Fiber One! Traditionally, stuffed mushrooms are loaded with bread crumbs (hello carbs), but we use one of my favorite secrets – Panko bread crumbs are lower in carbs than regular bread crumbs mixed with our crushed Fiber One!
I promise you will wow your guest with this dish!
XO, Shelly
