Ninja Air Fryer Bacon (CRISPY AND DELICIOUS)

  • Facebook

After one bite of my crispy, air fryer bacon you will NEVER cook bacon on the stove top again! Make my ninja air fryer bacon a part of your low carb and keto breakfast.

Ingredients Needed in our Air Fryer Bacon

Bacon.

Tips on buying bacon.

Bacon is found in the refrigerator case at our local supermarkets. Always double check the ‘date’ on the label when purchasing.

Storage.

Unopened bacon can last in the refrigerator for 2 weeks and in the freezer for 8 months. If you are not going to cook the entire package of bacon, place the uncooked portion in a ziploc style bag. It will last for 1 week in the refrigerator.

How to Make Ninja Air Fryer Bacon

Slice bacon in half.

Arrange bacon in the air fryer basket making sure the bacon does not ‘touch’ the other.

Air crisp (or air fry) at 375 for 5 minutes.

Lift lid (or pull out basket). Using tongs, flip bacon.

Air crisp (or air fry) at 375 for 5 minutes.

Serve!

What Ninja Foodi Did You Use?

How to Store Leftovers in the Refrigerator?

Store cooked bacon in an airtight bag or airtight container for 4 to 5 days.

Can I Freeze Cooked Bacon?

Cooked bacon can be stored for 1 month in the freezer.

How Long Does it Take to Reheat?

You can reheat stored bacon several ways, but I prefer to reheat stored bacon in the microwave for 10 seconds. You can reheat in the skillet for 1-2 minutes or back in the air fryer at 360 for 3-5 minutes.

What Else Can I Serve with Ninja Air Fryer Bacon?

To complete an amazing low carb breakfast, you have to serve this bacon with my take on the keto red lobster biscuits!

FAQ.

Is bacon low carb?

It depends. Don’t just reach for ANY bacon. Yes, bacon is a protein, HOWEVER, it is crazy important to look at the nutrition label. Many companies add SUGAR and various flavors to give a sweet flavor to the bacon. I like to use Applegate, Hormel Natural, and store-brands (I price compare).

Is bacon keto friendly?

As long as you choose a PLAIN bacon (with no added sugar), bacon fits perfectly on a keto plan.

I thought bacon was bad for me?

1 slice of bacon is between 50-70 calories and 5 grams of fat. Go ahead and have a few slices! For those needing low sodium selections, be sure to check the label.

I don’t need to use oil in this recipe?

Nope!
